VUQ-10 and the MQ-25 Fleet Training is located aboard NAS Patuxent River, MD. This enables the Fleet to integrate in the development and test of the MQ-25A Stingray. For the next few years, VUQ-10 will work alongside VX-23, UX-24 and VX-1 to test, train and develop operational and maintenance procedures for the Stingray. VUQ-10 will ultimately move to NBVC Point Mugu, CA. Unmanned Carrier-Launched Multi-Role Squadron Ten (VUQ-10) is the Fleet Replacement Squadron (FRS) for the MQ-25 Stingray. The MQ-25 Stingray is the Navy’s first carrier-based unmanned aircraft. As of 2020 the US Navy planned to establish Unmanned Carrier Launched Multi-Role Squadron 10 (VUQ-10) in October 2021 with four aircraft. The new unit was to be based at Naval Base Ventura County (which includes NAS Point Mugu). The Navy has 76 aircraft planned, the first Fleet Replacement Squadron, VUQ-10, stood up at NAS Point Mugu on 1 October 2021. Two operational units, VUQ-11 and VUQ-12 are planned to stand up as Pacific Fleet Squadrons (Fleet Replacement Squadron). This patch does not come with velcro attached.
