It is currently headquartered in Yokosuka, Japan, onboard United States Fleet Activities Yokosuka and is commanded by Rear Admiral Brian P. Fort, USN. VX-20, Air Test and Evaluation Squadron Twenty, (AIRTEVRON TWO ZERO) is a US Navy air test and evaluation squadron based at NAS Patuxent River, MD. VX-20 operates a variety of Naval aircraft for testing and evaluation of new technologies, including variants of the Northrop Grumman E-2 Hawkeye, Boeing E-6 Mercury, Lockheed P-3 Orion, Grumman C-2 Greyhound, Lockheed C-130 Hercules, C-12 Huron, and Beechcraft T-6 Texan II. VX-20's Lockheed Martin KC-130J Super Hercules tanker was used for flight tests of the Harvest HAWK weapon systems used to arm the tanker aircraft. Since 2010, VX-20 has been operating flight test models of the Boeing P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol and reconnaissance aircraft. This is the "AIRCRAFT TEST" patch for them and does not come with velcro attached.

Naval Air Station Patuxent River, also known as NAS Pax River, is a US Naval Air Station located in Maryland on the Chesapeake Bay near the mouth of the Patuxent River. It is home to Headquarters, Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School, the Atlantic Test Range, and serves as a center for test and evaluation and systems acquisition relating to naval aviation. Commissioned on April 1, 1943, on land largely acquired through eminent domain, the air station grew rapidly in response to World War II and continued to evolve through the Cold War to the present....to see all the history, just check it out online. This patch was created for their "FORCE AIRCRAFT TEST" division and does not come with velcro attached.

(Another AV8RSTUFF Creation): The Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Detachment (CNATT DET) Point Mugu, located at Naval Base Ventura County Š Point Mugu, supports the Navy's future fleet of Northrop Grumman MQ-4C Triton long-range unmanned aerial systems (UAS). CNATT DET Point Mugu provides technical and maintenance training for the MQ-4C and mission control systems. This patch DOES come with velcro attached.

The Beechcraft C-12 Huron is the military designation for a series of twin-engine turboprop aircraft based on the Beechcraft Super King Air and Beechcraft 1900. C-12 variants are used by the United States Air Force, United States Army, United States Navy and United States Marine Corps. These aircraft are used for various duties, including embassy support, medical evacuation, as well as passenger and light cargo transport. Some aircraft are modified with surveillance systems for various missions, including the Cefly Lancer, RC-12 Guardrail and Project Liberty programs. This patch says "NAS PATUXENT RIVER" along the bottom and is worn by the instructors that teach others how to fly it. This patch does not have velcro.

This is one of the U.S. Navy SERE patches. SERE are the survival specialists that teach pilots and crew to survive in case that type of situation arises. The patch is a rounded triangle with the words FASO DET SERE NAVY BRUNS across the top and "I've Been There" on the bottom. It has a tiger profile in the middle of the patch. I believe the unit is from Brunswick.

The USMC School of Advanced Warfighting (SAW) develops lead planners and future commanders with the will and intellect to solve complex problems, employ operational art, and design and execute campaigns in order to enhance the Marine CorpsÕ ability to prepare for and fight wars.
