This is the LIGHT yellow version of TOM KAZANSKI's nametag (callsign, 'ICEMAN' already embroidered) that was used in the movie, TOPGUN. It was worn on the left breast area of the flight suit and does NOT have velcro attached so that it can be sewn onto your flightsuit or flight jacket.

This is the BROWN leather nametag worn on the brown leather jacket by "ICEMAN". It has the USN Pilot Wings and says "TOPGUN, is embossed in gold, and does come with velcro attached.

(Another AV8RSTUFF Creation): This is the 1985 WESTPAC Cruise patch created for VF-213 while they deployed on the USS ENTERPRISE (CVN-65) as part of Carrier Air Wing Eleven (CVW-11). This was an ACTUAL deployment by this carrier and air wing, but the patch was modified to have the fictitious squadron on it. All else is FACTUAL!! This patch was worn in the center, back area of the leather jacket worn by "ICEMAN" and "SLIDER". This patch does not come with velcro attached.

This is the (fake) VF-213 squadron patch used in the movie, TOPGUN. It is the squadron patch for VA-25 and VFA-25, the "Fist of the Fleet". Since it has a cool design, it was decided to change the designator and use that image, but with a different number. The patch was worn on the right breast area of the flight suit and leather jacket by "ICEMAN" and "SLIDER". This patch does not come with velcro attached.

(Another AV8RSTUFF Creation): The 'Fist of the Fleet' from VFA-25 currently fly the F/A-18E Hornet out of NAS Lemoore, CA. They were established in January 1943 and have transitioned to the latest version of the Hornet with all the upgrades. The 'Fist' were paired with their sister squadron of VFA-113 to upgrade simultaneously. This is the smaller version of their "FISTS OF BARBWIRE" patch and does not come with velcro attached.

This is the CV-61 (USS RANGER) Double Centurion patch worn on ICEMAN's right sleeve of his flight suit. This patch does not come with velcro attached.

This is the white-bordered version of the American Flag. It does NOT come with velcro.

This is the light blue version of the F-14 Felix patch with the yellow tab at the bottom that says TOMCAT. It depicts the mascot leaning against the red/white stripes of the American Flag and does not come with velcro attached.

This is the black version (with a yellow border) of CVW-5 patch for the US Navy Airwing flying out of Japan. It was worn on this character's flight suit, hence does not come with velcro.

This is the "TACTICAL WINGS ATLANTIC" school patch worn by 'GOOSE' in the 1986 TOPGUN movie. It is from a (fictional) Tactics and Training School on the East Coast (NAS Oceana, VA). This patch does not come with velcro attached.

This is the "MEDIUM ATTACK WING" school patch worn by 'Iceman' and 'Slider' in the 1986 TOPGUN movie. It is from an actual "A-6 INTRUDER" unit, which gives some authenticity to their flight suits, as their "VF-213" Squadron patch is actually from VA-25 (another Intruder Squadron), so the producers combined those to give these characters some historical background. This patch does not come with velcro attached.

The world's first nuclear-powered aircraft carrier and the eighth ship to carry this proud name, the Big 'E' was commissioned on 24 November 1961. She is home-ported at NAS Norfolk, VA and underwent a major overhaul in the early '90s, deployed with CVW-17 in 1996, completed a short overhaul in the summer of 1997, deployed again with CVW-3 in late 1998 to May 1999 to the Med and Arabian Sea regions during which time, they planned many contingency operations in support of the Kosovo crisis while in the Adriatic Sea, as well as participated in Operation Desert Fox while in the Persian Gulf. This is the medium-sized version of their patch. This ship has now been decommissioned.

The AIM-7 Sparrow (Air Intercept Missile) is an American, medium-range semi-active radar homing air-to-air missile operated by the USAF, US Navy, and USMC, as well as other various air forces and navies. Sparrow and its derivatives were the West's principal beyond visual range (BVR) air-to-air missile from the late 1950s until the 1990s. This is the AIM-7F "SHOOTER" missile patch for those who were fortunate enough to get to fire one and does not come with velcro attached.

Carrier Air Wing Eleven (CVW-11) is a United States Navy aircraft carrier air wing based at Naval Air Station Lemoore, California. The air wing is attached to the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz. This is the white version of their airwing patch with the two DI show "5 and 6" (for a play on "11"), and does not come with velcro attached..

This is the base patch for NAS Miramar, home of "TOP GUN" in the 1980's located in San Diego, CA. This is an actual patch from the base, home of the (fictitious) VF-213 *FIST OF THE FLEET* F-14 Tomcat squadron. This patch does not come with velcro attached.

This is the "ship" patch for the USS YORKTOWN (CG 48). On the 1985/86 Aircraft Carrier deployment for USS ENTERPRISE (CVN-65) with Air Wing Eleven (CVW-11), the YORKTOWN conducted operations in the Black Sea which VF-213 supported (in real life). That is the reason this patch was chosen for the ICEMAN leather jacket and does not come with velcro attached.
