MILITARY ARTWORK PIECES

Thanks for stopping by the "Military Artwork Site". I was TDY in Vegas recently and came across some of the local "street artists" that were creating incredible works of art right before my eyes, using basic tools and an extremely creative imagination. Some of these you will see below are absolutely breath-taking, and after I ended up buying THREE pieces myself, I thought that this might be a worthy addition to AV8RSTUFF, as we only want to bring you the utmost in quality, uniqueness, and variety of items.

While the artist(s) are able to make these "on-demand", it usually takes a little bit of time to get one shipped to you directly from them. In the case of George Lochli, he spends hours diligently painting to get the details exactly right. He is the "hand-painting" artist for the Purple Heart Foundation and US WINGS, our jacket provider. These ARE NOT something that is cranked out enmasse, these are individual pieces, each (by him) being able to be made completely customized, so if you're interested in a piece, but want to add a little personalization, that can be done.

EACH PIECE is a "ONE-ONLY" quantity, therefore there will not be any "shopping cart" or "checkout" feature offered. These are being done on an singular piece, as each has it's own characteristics, none of which you will be disappointed!. TAXIING TO A 'CAT-SHOT'

This is George Lochli's rendition of "Taxiing to a Catapult Shot". It is a portrait of a US Naval Aviator taxiing his aircraft on the flight deck up to the "shuttle", saluting the "Shooter" before he is launched. There is another aircraft launching off a different catapult as seen in the visor of the pilot. It is HAND-PAINTED on a 24" x 24" piece of Sanded Birch wood with exterior acrylics and finished with 4 coats of polyurethane for a smooth durable finish. This is a beautiful piece, one of which you would be proud to hang in your "man-cave"! F-18 HORNET AT REST'

This is George Lochli's rendition of "F-18 HORNET AT REST". It is a portrait of a US Navy/McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 (A or C-model) sitting on the tarmac getting ready for another long day of work defending our great country. While no weapons are loaded, she's still beautiful sitting there waiting for her driver. It is HAND-PAINTED on a 24" x 24" piece of Sanded Birch wood with exterior acrylics and finished with 4 coats of polyurethane for a smooth durable finish.
