Callsign "Fast Eagle", they were established in September 1950 and transitioned from the F-4Ns in April 1976 to their current platform. This is the PVC/rubber 'patch' created for their 'TOMCAT era'. It says "FIRST TO FIGHT" (top), "F-14 ERA" (middle), and "FIRST TO STRIKE" (bottom) with the dates of 1981 - 1995. This patch does not coem with velcro attached.

This is the FIRST Operation Enduring Freedom patch that came out. It is also the LAST cruise patch for the VF-41 "Black Knights" in the F-14 Tomcat. It has the now-famous cat (Tomcat) sharpening it's claws for our turn.

This is the 1997 "Med Cruise" patch created for the VF-41 Black Aces. They were deployed on the JFK for their summer enjoyment.

This is the 1993 "Adversary Cruise" patch created for the VF-41 Black Aces. Notice that "Cruise" is in quotations, as they never set sail, but were TDY to Vegas, Key West, Cold Lake (Canada), Luke AFB, and NAS Fallon.
