(Another AV8RSTUFF Creation): This is a neon-orange ‘FRIDAY’ patch worn by the 116th Operations Support Squadron (OSS) they are assigned to 116th Operations group of the 116th Air Control Wing stationed at Robins AFB, GA and are responsible for the Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (JSTARS) sortie and all facets of scheduling deployments, training, and all that encompasses, to include long-range mission scheduling, building and executing exercises and deployments, aircraft software or modification training, and providing the necessary tactics and intelligence analyses to ensure wing mission success. This patch was created by the current (and last) OSS Commander for them to wear on Fridays (and Sundays of Drill Weekends) to boost morale. This patch shows “HEI HEI” (ROJAS), the unofficial mascot of the 116 OSS, standing upright and comes with velcro attached.
