This is the subdued version of the old style squadron patch (notice the designation is at the top of the patch, but is now required by ACC to be at the bottom) for the 12th Airborne Command and Control Squadron located at Robins AFB, GA. They fly the E-8C Joint STARS aircraft and are one of the new “unsung” heroes of the new military.
