This is the 24th EADS patch. It is a legacy patch for the current 127th ADS that is performing the JADOC (Joint Air Defense Operations Center) mission. The 127th ADS is the USAF squadron located in the nation’s capital at a secure location, the JADOC houses dozens of servicemen and women whose mission is to work daily around the clock to track and identify every aircraft that approaches the U.S. National Capital Region airspace. As a part of the CONR mission, JADOC was created after the 9/11 attacks on the Pentagon, the World Trade Center and United Airlines Flight 93. Having worked there I can attest to the fact that everyone there are great folks and it’s a super important mission. This patch comes with velcro attached.
