The 33d Rescue Squadron is part of the 18th Wing at Kadena Air Base, Japan. It operates Sikorsky HH-60 Pave Hawk aircraft conducting search and rescue missions. This is the ‘COVID ON’ swirl patch they created with a blue mask on the Jolly Green Giant. It was found in a local Korean embroidery shop and has the “theater-made” feel with the ‘cut’ edge, and does not have velcro attached.
