The 351st Air Refueling Squadron (351 ARS) is part of the 100th Air Refueling Wing at RAF Mildenhall, England and operates the KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft conducting aerial refueling missions. The ÔSquare DÕ in the centre of the 351st ARS patch is present on every aircraft belonging to the 100th ARW as its predecessor unit (the 100th Bombardment Group) had this tail code assigned. What is special about this is that the 100th ARW is the only USAF operational wing allowed to display its predecessors tailcode. The 100th ARW flies out of RAF Mildenhall in the UK. This is their “Putting the D in DJIBOUTI” patch they created and does not have velcro attached.
