This is the color version of the squadron patch for the 491st Expeditionary AES Squadron for their participation in Operation Iraqi Freedom. The Expeditionary Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron is made up of Reservist from numerous CONUS units. Detachments in Spain, England, Germany and Italy for Iraqi freedom. Provided fixed wing Aerovac crews for transport out of the Iraq/Kuwait to Germany/Spain and out of Germany/Spain to CONUS as well as operating Aermedical Staging Facilities in Germany/Spain.
