The 75th Fighter Squadron (75 FS) is a US Air Force unit assigned to the 23d Fighter Group, Air Combat Command and stationed at Moody AFB, GA. The squadron was equipped with the Fairchild Republic A-10C Thunderbolt II attack aircraft. The 75th Fighter Squadron deployed several times in the battle against global terrorism. On 25 January 2019, the squadron returned from a six-month deployment in support of Operation Spartan Shield and Operation Freedom’s Sentinel. First to an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia for a series of exercises with friendly Middle Eastern air forces, then onto Kandahar Airfield in Afghanistan to fly close-air support missions in support of U.S. and Afghan forces. This is the black-red-white version of their HOG DRIVER Shield patch and does not come with velcro attached.
