This is the patch created by the ‘Air Force Global Strike Command’ (AFGSC) to commemorate their SUPERBOWL LIV flyover. AFGSC is a Major Command (MAJCOM) of the USAF, headquartered at Barksdale AFB, LA and provides combat-ready forces to conduct strategic nuclear deterrence and global strike operations in support of combatant commanders. AFGSC is the Air Force’s service component to the US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM). Air Force Global Strike Command is the direct descendant unit of the Cold WarÐera Strategic Air Command (SAC) and holds that lineage, history and honors of SAC. This patch was found in a small Korean shop and does not come with velcro attached.
