This is the red version of the 2003 Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) cruise patch for Airwing 5 when they cruised onboard the USS Kitty Hawk. It shows the “”””gaggle”””” of aircraft and squadrons attached to the airwing and carrier. This was a Pacific cruise that went through the Indian Ocean into the Persian Gulf.
