This is the “300 Traps” patch given by the different carriers, not the Air Wings. As Carrier Air Wings vary onboard an aircraft carrier, this patch signifies that the pilot has 300 landings (day and night) on that particular ship and does not come with velcro attached so that it can be sewn on the flight or Leather Jacket(s).
