This is the round, blue version of the E-2D Hawkeye aircraft patch depicting the “Hawkeye” hold a HORNET on a leash, it being ready to attack. The Hawkeye crews run the “air and ground war” for the Navy, so they have the authority to task the Fighter/Attack aircraft. This patch does not come with velcro attached.
