The USN FWS, Fighter Weapons School, commonly referred to as “Top Gun”, was based at NAS Miramar, CA, but has since been moved to NAS Fallon, NV. This is the desert version (with the desert inner circle) of the patch worn by graduates and DOES have velcro attached.
