This patch was created for some of the USAF students at Laughlin AFB, TX (Del Rio). The reference to the FSS patch with the letters “Delta, Tau, Chi” is the 1978 Movie “Animal House” – which fairly depicts the raucous conduct of old-school mobility aviators. As in the movie, modern stuffy Air Force “management” has declared war on fun of any kind beginning with alcohol. Some continue to pledge allegiance to the frat which is – DELTA TAU CHI. Watch it if you never have. This patch DOES come with velcro attached.
