Guided Missile Unit (GMU)-41 was a joint Navy/Marine outfit of (approx) 50 guys administratively attached to VX-4 at Point Mugu. It evaluated the Bullpup missile and moved on to the Sparrow III in late 1950’s. Lots of classified testing back then, as the Canadians were “pushing us” in competition. Very unique patch and does not come with velcro attached.
