The HC-6 ‘Chargers’ are a HH/CH/UH-46D Squadron flying out of NAS Norfolk, VA. They were established in September ’67 and provide combat support for most Navy warships. This is their cruise patch from their 1986-87 Mediterranean cruise aboard the USS Savannah.
