This unit was deactivated September 2012. The mission of HMH-362 was to provide Assault Support transport of combat troops, supplies and equipment during expeditionary, joint or combined operations. HMH-362 was prepared for short-notice, worldwide employment in support of Marine Air-Ground Task Force operations. This is the “yellow-black” version of the squadron patch for the ‘Ugly Angels’ that flew the CH-53D Sea Stallion under MAG-26 guidance in support of the 2nd Marine Division out of Camp Lejeune, NC and does not come with velcro attached.
