This is the desert version of the “TAQADDUM, IRAQ” detachment patch for HMM-161 that flies the CH-46 out of MCAS Tustin, CA. They operate under MAG-16 in support of the 3d Marine Division at Camp Pendleton. They flew combat support missions during Operation Desert Storm out of King Abdul Aziz naval air base.
