HSC-9 is a US Navy helicopter squadron based at NAS Norfolk, VA. They are attached to Carrier Air Wing Eight (CVW-8) and deploys aboard USSÊGeorge H.W. BushÊ(CVN-77). HSC-9 was redesignated from HS-3 on 1 June 2009. This is their 2025 DET “Bullet” patch that shows KURT RUSSELL with an eye-patch and says “You Don’t Know What You’re Doing, Do You?” (top) and “IT SHOWS.” (bottom). This patch does not have velcro attached.
