Traditionally crafted from cotton, these were first donned by the nomadic Bedouin tribes as a protection against the desert sun and sand of the harsh climate in the Middle Eastern countries. The keffiyeh’s usefulness in the desert landscape played a key role in its widespread popularity across diverse cultures in the region. These are also worn/carried by our “Special OPS” members, as well as “combat theater flyers” in case they needed to blend in with the local community.
