It is in fact (now obsolete) a patch from Dover AFB, Delaware (C-5 aircraft). The patch belonged to the 436 Field Maintenance Squadron (FMS), of which I was a part when I first entered the active duty Air Force back in 87. We used the patch from the time I got there in Sept. 87 through a little after the Gulf War – Desert Shield/Storm. That was when the re-structuring of the Air Force took place and MAC became AMC and a whole slew of other changes, but our patch was never used again
