Marine Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Squadron 3 (VMU-3), nicknamed the “Phantoms,” is a U.S. Marine Corps unit based at MCAS Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, under Marine Aircraft Group 24. Activated in 2008, the squadron operates the MQ-9A Reaper, providing multi-sensor surveillance, reconnaissance, and target acquisition for the III Marine Expeditionary Force in the Indo-Pacific region. This is the “subdued/OCP” version of their squadron patch and does come with velcro attached.
