The USN FWS, Fighter Weapons School, commonly referred to as “Top Gun”, was based at NAS Miramar, CA, but has since been moved to NAS Fallon, NV. This is the large version of their school patch that is sewn onto the Ready Room Chair Seat Covers (as seen in TG: MAVERICK), helmet bags, or the back of their flight jackets. This large patch does not come with velcro attached.
