This patch was given to the pilots in the airwing attached to the USS America (CV-66) during the different “line periods” that were the top FIVE best pilots that period, earned by the “scores” given to them by the Landing Signal Officers (LSO) for their landing grades. Highly coveted patch for the pilots….this patch does not come with velcro attached and is a reproduction of their original “landing grade” patches.
