The “Swordsmen” of VA-145 originated from the reserve squadron VA-702 when they were called to activeduty in July 1950. They flew F-4U Corsairs and AD-1 Skyraiders, before transitioning to the venerable A-6 Intruder. This is the tailcode ‘NE’ version of their Intruder tailfin. It does not have velcro attached.
