This is the “Blue Angel paint-schemed” aircraft version of the detachment patch for the VAQ-135 “Black Ravens” created when they deployed over to the desert for joint operations. It states “We didn’t drop anything, and neither did you” along the bottom. They operated the Grumman EA-6B Prowler out of NAS Whidbey Island, WA. They were established in May 1969 and participated in Operation Desert Storm from the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72).
