This is the “Prowler Supervisor” shoulder patch for the VAQ-135 “Black Ravens” that operated the Grumman EA-6B Prowler out of NAS Whidbey Island, WA. They were established in May 1969 and participated in Operation Desert Storm from the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). This is the patch worn by those in the squadron that manage and supervise the different aspects of the squadron.
