(Another AV8RSTUFF creation): Electronic Attack Squadron 138 (VAQ-138), also known as the “Yellow Jackets”, is an expeditionary EA-18G Growler squadron of the US Navy based at NAS Whidbey Island, WA. Their radio callsign is “RAMPAGE”. VAQ-138’s mission: to provide worldwide deployable Airborne Electronic Attack capabilities to deny, degrade, or destroy the enemy’s use of electromagnetic spectrum in support of Joint or Coalition Forces, and U.S. National Interests. This patch was created to pay homage to their time flying the venerable EA-6B Prowler from 1976 – 2011 and does not come with velcro attached.
