Known as the “Patriots”, the squadron operates the EA-18G Growler from NAS Whidbey Island, WA. They are attached to Carrier Air Wing Seven (CVW-7) currently (2017), and deploy aboard USSÊHarry S. Truman using the callsign “Talon”. This is the blue version of their Growler Tailfin, has the “claw marks” on the fin, says “GRAY WOLVES” along the bottom, and does not come with velcro attached.
