(From the Squadron Mess): The VAW-112 ‘Golden Hawks’ flew the E-2C Hawkeye out of NBVC Ventura County, Point Mugu, CA. They were established in April 1967 and serve aboard the USS Stennis (CVN-74) as part of CVW-9. This is their commemorative DECOMMISSIONING patch that says “50 YEARS OF GHOST CONTROL” and “DISTESTABLISHED 2017”. This is a very colorful patch and does not come with velcro….in very limited quantities.
