(Directly from the Squadron Mess Officer): This is green-black version of one of the 2021 cruise patches created by the Liberty Bells as part of CVW-11 onboard CVN-71. It says “CALL OF COVID / SPECIAL OP(TIC)S” along the top referencing all the “special” port time they spent in Guam and how the media dictated the headlines of their ‘deployment’. This patch does NOT come with velcro attached.
