(From the Squadron): Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron 121 (VAW-121), also known as the “Bluetails”, is an Airborne Early Warning (AEW) and Command and control (C2) squadron of the US Navy, operating the E-2D Hawkeye. Established in 1967, the squadron is based at NAS Norfolk, VA. This is one of their 2023 Cruise patches for their time in the “desert”. It shows TEDDY ROOSEVELT (whom CVN-71 is named after) riding a camel and “Carrying a Big Stick”. This patch DOES come with velcro attached.
