The “Bluetails” of VAW-121 fly the E-2C Hawkeye out of NAS Norfolk, VA onboard the USS Kennedy (CV-67) as part of Airwing 7. They were established in April 1967. This is there deployed desert patch. This is the desert version of their det patch and it says VAW 121 and “CELER, AVDAX, FORTIS” across the bottom. It does not come with velcro attached.
