The VAW-124 “Bear Aces” fly the Grumman E-2C Hawkeye out of NAS Norfolk, VA. They were established in September 1967 and fly as part of CVW-8 on the East Coast airwings. They participated in Desert Storm aboard the USS Roosevelt (CVN-71). This is the color version of the “Bear Aces” patch showing 4 Aces with the “Bear” (mascot) and does not come with velcro attached.
