The “Seahawks” of VAW-126 fly the E-2C Hawkeye out of NAS Norfolk, VA onboard the USS Harry Truman (CVN-75) as part of Airwing 3. They were established in April 1969 and participated in Desert Storm and other contingencies. This is the closeout patch and shows a tailhook and a lighting bolt covered by VAW-126 “Seahawk”. It says “CLOSEOUT” across the top and does not come with velcro attached.
