The VAW-127 “Seabats” were stood up in 1982 and were part of the CVW-13/USS CORAL SEA team until disestablishment in 1991. During that timeframe the Seabats deployed several times, participated in “Eldorado Canyon” (bombing of Libya), and counternarcotics operations out of Panama. Thanx to Capt.
