This is the reproduction patch for VF-15 Satan’s Playmates. They flew the F6F-3 Grumman Hellcat fighter during WWII for CAG-15. The squadron was established Sept 1943 and the first Commanding Officer was “Medal of Honor” (CMH) winner Dave McCampell. The patch was designed by Milton Caniff, the author of “Terry & the Pirates”. This is a reproduction patch.
