VF-2 was an F-14A Tomcat squadron stationed on the East Coast, but cruised with West Coast boats. They were a TARPS squadron and have cruised on several ‘boats’, achieving several obscure firsts: They were the first to launch from a carrier deck while towing an air-to-air gunnery banner. This is the Red/White/Blue version of the Felix patch and does not come with velcro attached.
