VF-2 is an F-14A Tomcat squadron stationed on the East Coast, but cruises with West Coast boats. They are a TARPS squadron and have cruised on several ‘boats’, and have achieved several obscure firsts: They were the first to launch from a carrier deck while towing an air-to-air gunnery banner. This is their TARPS patch and denotes both aircrew with the 2 Tomcats. Sorry it’s more expensive, but these came from Japan, a port where they sometimes pull into when on cruise.
