(Another AV8RSTUFF Creation): VFA-122 flies the F/A-18C out of NAS Lemoore, CA as the West Coast Replacement Air Group (RAG). In order to be qualified for the “FLEET” (operational squadrons), the pilots must “Carrier Qualify” by landing multiple times (day and night) onboard an aircraft carrier (for this det, they were trapping aboard the USS Roosevelt (CVN-71). This is called a “CQ DET” and this particular graduating class created this ‘ALADDIN’ patch to commemorate their CQ Det. This patch does come with velcro attached.
