(Another AV8RSTUFF Creation): VFA-122 flies the F/A-18C out of NAS Lemoore, CA as the West Coast Replacement Air Group (RAG). In order to be qualified for the “FLEET” (operational squadrons), the pilots must “WEAPONS Qualify” by going through the ‘STRIKE’ curriculum at El Centro NAF, CA. This is the class’ HORNET FLAG DET patch with an F/A-18E (and/or ‘F’) in the center. This patch has the “blue” overtones and DOES come with velcro attached.
