(Another AV8RSTUFF Creation): VFA-122 flies the F/A-18C out of NAS Lemoore, CA as the West Coast Replacement Air Group (RAG). In order to be qualified for the “FLEET” (operational squadrons), the pilots must “Carrier Qualify” by landing multiple times (day and night) onboard an aircraft carrier (for this det, they were trapping aboard the USS Lincoln (CVN-72). This patch says “WAXED, VAXED, READY FOR CATS” (top) and CQ WEST JUNE 2021 (bottom). This patch DOES come with velcro attached.
