The “Knighthawks” of VFA-136 initally flew the F/A-18C Hornet as part of CVW-7 from the USS John F. Kennedy (CV-67). They were established in July 1985 and received their first ‘night attack’ Hornet in November 1990. They participated in Desert Shield, but returned home from deployment before hostilities began. This is the blue version of their squadron patch and does not come with velcro attached.
