(Another AV8RSTUFF creation): The VFA-2 Bounty Hunters transitioned from the F-14 Tomcat at NAS Oceana to the F/A-18 Hornet at NAS Lemoore. This is their ‘Wounded Rhino’ patch created for the new squadron showing the Rhino in handcuffs, wearing the “cone-of-shame”, has a cropped horn, bandages on his head, wearing a diaper, etc, etc…..the squadron is “tight-lipped” about what all this patch represents, but the JOPA wanted it badly! No velcro on it.
