This is the white-bordered version of their current squadron patch for the VFA-211 “Checkmates” that now fly the F/A-18F Hornet out of NAS Oceana, VA. They trace their roots to VB-74, established in May 1945, but acquired their current designation in March 1959This patch does not have velcro attached.
