This patch was created for VFA-31 / VFA-37 / VFA-87 / VFA-213 for their tribute to the USS Gerald Ford (CVN-78)’s 2023 “MAIDEN VOYAGE”. USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78) is an aircraft carrier for the US Navy and the lead ship of her class. The ship is named after the 38th President of the United States, Gerald Ford, whose World War II naval service included combat duty aboard the light aircraft carrier Monterey in the Pacific Theater. This patch says “QUICK TWO, SIX, SEVEN, EIGHT…MONTH ADVENTURE, IN AND OUT” (bottom) and does not come with velcro attached.
